Biovestin^® Liquid probiotic

«Biovestin»^® is a dietary supplement produced by Bio-Vesta ® LLC (Lesosechnaya 3/1, Novosibirsk, Russia) in accordance with TU 9224-010-70517093-2015, which has a certificate of state registration No. RU 77.99.88.003.E.001573.04.16 dated 12/04/2016. It is not a medicine.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION: skimmed milk, starter — Bifidobacterium longum MS 42 strain,  acidity regulator — sodium bicarbonate, GMK-3- a growth factor for bifidobacteria.

INDICATIONS FOR USE:

«Biovestin»^® is recommended as an additional source of bifido bacteria. Confirmed optimal biomedical and nutritional value of Biovestin allows improving the digestive tract function providing with essential biologically active nutrients, including the situations when it is needed:

• to recover normal intestinal microflora,
• to improve the motor-evacuation function of the digestive system,
• to improve the barrier function of mucous membranes,
• to protect against intoxication with harmful chemicals from the environment and at endotoxicosis,
• to prevent complications with antibiotic therapy and chemoradiotherapy,
• to correct lipid metabolism,
• to correct the immune status,
• to prevent and reduce the severity of viral diarrhea,
• for people with chronic stress, winter fatigue syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, with increased physical exertion (including athletes).

ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND THEIR EFFECT

«Biovestin»^® is an additional source of probiotic microorganisms – bifidobacteria. It contains live beneficial bifido bacteria in active form, as well as metabolites — the products of the vital activity of bacteria.

The main action of «Biovestin»^® is restoration of the normal microflora in the human intestinal tract. The following mechanisms of Biovestin and normal microflora influence on the human body can be distinguished:

Immunomodulatory — normal microflora takes an active part in specific and nonspecific reactions of the immune response. The main immunomodulating mechanisms are provided by bifido- and lactic acid bacteria and their metabolites. For example, stimulation of production of normal microflora sIgA promotes the restoration of the humoral link of immunity.

Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory — the number of metabolites, such as propionic, butyric, acetic, lactic, formic acids, have a direct bacteriostatic effect on pathogenic and opportunistic microflora. Metabolites of bifido- and lactic acid bacteria also have a controlling effect on the production of mediators of inflammation in the intestines — cytokines, histamine, serotonin, prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

Regenerative (restoration of intestinal mucosa) — attaching of bifidobacteria to the intestinal mucosa is accompanied by the restoration of the epitheliocytes’s activity.

Detoxicating — the symbionne microflora inactivates endotoxins and aggression factors of the pathogenic and conditional pathogenic microflora, which contributes to the reduction of the amount of endogenous toxins in the intestine. Normal microflora competes with pathogenic bacteria for binding receptors and nutritional factors, thereby reducing the probability of pathogenic bacteria attaching and the toxic effects of their metabolites.

Products of the normal microflora metabolism — short-chain fatty acids (acetic, propionic, butyric etc.) contribute to the inhibition of putrefactive processes in the intestine and reduce the formation of ammonia, aromatic amines, sulfides and endogenous carcinogens.

Hypolipidemic — bifidobacteria are involved in the metabolism of bile acids and cholesterol, transferring them to sparingly soluble residues and ensuring separation of cholesterol from the body. The metabolic products of bifido bacteria also reduce separation of cholesterol from liver cells by inhibiting specific enzymes.

Protective — normal microflora prevents penetration of pathogenic and opportunistic microflora into the internal genital organs via the lymph or blood.

DATA ON PRODUCT TOXICITY (CONSUMPTION WARNINGS):

The product is not toxic, as it contains representatives of the normal microflora of the human body — Bifidobacterium longum MS 42 and Lactobacillus plantarum 8 PA3 pharmacopoeial strains. Data on nontoxicity are confirmed by numerous laboratory and clinical studies, for example, by the Expert Opinion of the Federal Budgetary Health Care Institution «Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Novosibirsk region» based on the results of laboratory tests No. 08-784 / 005559 for the samples of Biovestin and Biovestin-lacto dietary supplements.

PRESENTATION
Glass vials of 12 ml packed in plastic partitioning insert and cardboard boxes for 7 or 28 vials. Together with the vials, the cardboard package is completed with a detailed instruction and a set of plastic straws for the convenient use.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

The adequate level of consumption of bifidobacteria is 5×10⁸ — 5×10¹⁰ CFU/day. The recommended daily dose is taken in 1-2 hours during meals. The course of treatment makes 3-4 weeks. Before use, the contents of the vial should be gently mixed.

CONTRADICTIONS: individual intolerance to the components of the product, intolerance to milk protein. Consult a doctor before use. Children from 1 to 14 years old need to consult a pediatrician.

CONDITIONS OF STORAGE: store at a temperature of (4 ± 2) C °. When stored in a refrigerator, separate impregnations of milk fat or fatty film are allowed. A small amount of carbon dioxide is allowed at opening of a vial due to the production technology. After opening store in a refrigerator in a tightly closed vial for no more than one day.

BEST BEFORE DATE: 75 days from the date of production in the unopened original packaging.
